~Happy Halloween from Pierre & Sally Anne~
If you're not a fan of the CBS show "Sunday Morning"...you haven't seen it yet! It's the only show Pierre & Sally Anne watch religiously and it's everything a Sunday morning should be: relaxing...informative...and inspiring. Our ritual begins when we hear the trumpet fanfare...and it's just the way we like to start our week!
You can imagine Sally Anne's surprise today...when a segment on earthquake preparedness featured the Emergency Room where she works!
She arrived at work on Thursday just as "The Great California Shakeout" disaster drill was winding down. But the press...and dignitaries from around the world (even Chile) were still lingering...
and discussing how all went off without a hitch! Tents were set up in the parking lot...students from a neighboring high school portrayed patients...and terrific staff triaged and treated the wounded.
Earthquakes are serious business in California and being prepared for the unimaginable devastation of "The Big One" is not to be taken lightly. If you experience an earthquake...don't forget to "stop...cover...and hold on"!

We love Boxwood...
and were delighted to find petite "Boxwood Basil"...and even more delighted when we found they fit perfectly in our small square herb pots...that fit perfectly in our tabletop cathedral garden! Isn't it wonderful when things fit perfectly?
